GOVERNOR Adegboyega Oyetola of Osun State said yesterday that his faith in the Nigerian judiciary remains firm and unshaken in light of his petition before the election tribunal.
Oyetola stated that he and the All Progressives Congress, APC, are confident of victory at the tribunal.
This was stated by the governor at the annual photography and videography day celebration and fundraising for the construction of a N20 million ultramodern hall in Osogbo.
The governor, who was represented by his Special Adviser on Civic Engagement, Mr Olatunbosun Oyintiloye, expressed confidence that he would reclaim his mandate at the tribunal.
“For the time being, there is a minor setback and challenge, but I want to assure you that we are standing tall and confident of victory,” he said.
There is no cause for concern based on the evidence presented to the tribunal.
“We believe that by God’s grace, we will glorify God and rejoice in our victory.”
The chairman of the association, Isaac Adegoke, stated in his remarks that members of the association were direct beneficiaries of the governor’s people-oriented programs.
Isaac stated that members of the association were firmly behind the governor and would continue to pray for his victory at the tribunal.
